Support Trainings for Ukrainian Mental Health Providers
Don protégé
The war in Ukraine has left deep scars. Amidst this devastation, Ukrainians are bravely carrying on, but the emotional toll is immense. The Self Leadership Collaborative (SLC) has been asked to provide Ukrainian therapists and educators with training to help the children and families in their communities. The SLC workshops offer educators training in techniques for staff and students to deal with stress and emotional crises.
You can understand how critical this initiative is for war-torn Ukraine. Practitioners are bravely supporting their communities as they themselves are physically and emotionally threatened. They are barely scraping by and do not have the resources to fund their own training.
We urgently need your help to make this training possible. Last spring, SLC offered a free introductory workshop for 100 Ukrainian therapists and educators who found our model simple to implement and immediately impactful. When the SLC promised to offer more in-depth training through our small cohort 8-module workshop series, Ukrainian therapists and educators filled the first cohort within 24 hours and already have a full waitlist for a second cohort!
Our trainers are contributing a portion of their time, but funding is needed to cover the full cost of the 8-week training program. We need to raise $10,000 to support each cohort. Your contribution, no matter the size, will provide these practitioners with the tools they need to support themselves and others.
Please consider donating today to support Ukrainian educators during this critical time. Your generosity will make a real difference.
