I have a very dear friend and co-worker that has fallen on hard times. On September 6, 2025, she fell and shattered her ankle. Tracy is a person who is very independent and asks for nothing from anyone. I had mentioned to her I felt I wanted to do something to help her as she is single and will be off work with no pay for the next 12 weeks. She will have zero income coming in, but the mortgage and monthly bills will still flood in with no way to pay them. Now she faces some medical expenses as well. She is such a hard worker, taking pride in being a single mother, raising a beautiful daughter who now resides in her own home. Plus, she has taken care of her mother over the last 6-7 years extensively as she is a paraplegic This was difficult for her to agree to set up a GoFundMe as this is just not what she does. She is so independent, asking nothing from anyone. She is in such need of help right now. She is not a person who asks for help and I pretty much had to tell her, I am helping you! She is an amazing person who always helps others and puts her life on hold for others. She works, she goes home and assists with her mother’s care in the evenings, and has been doing this for many years while putting her life on hold.
