Tracy has always been a ray of sunshine at Gallo de Oro, an on-campus dining spot at Carnegie Mellon. She inspires everyone around her with her kindness, warmth, and positive outlook on life. Tracy was the heart of Gallo - we all looked forward to seeing her at the register, where she greeted everyone with a smile and kind words (and sometimes free brownies). She often shared stories about her children and grandchildren, and her love for her family was evident in everything she did. Tracy has faced many challenges in her life, but her resilience and optimism have always shone through, making her a true inspiration to all who know her.

Recently, Tracy received the difficult news that she has lung cancer. The diagnosis has brought not only emotional stress but also significant financial strain. The cost of hospital bills and treatments is extremely overwhelming, and she truly needs help to get the care she deserves. The donations from this fundraiser will go toward covering Tracy’s hospital bills, treatments, and keeping her comfortable during this time, easing her financial burden so she can focus on her health and recovery.
