Support Tracy Rogers-Yates Heart Surgery Recovery

Donation protected
This poor girl is trying so hard to make a comeback and not only did she have yet another heart attack, but her grandson is being treated for cancer in a hospital out of state so her support system, which is her daughter, is not available, and Tracy‘s trying to cope with all of this on her own and recover as best she can on her own. If you can find it in your heart or in your budget, please donate whatever you can to help Tracy. She hasn’t been able to work for several months and I’m sure the bills are piling up.

From Tracy in 3/1/26
So as most of you know, I had a double bypass open-heart surgery December 5, 2024. I’ve been doing everything that the doctors ordered over the last year, yet I’ve had a few setbacks along the way.
After the surgery, I felt immediate relief, yet I continued to have shortness of breath, excessive sweats, nausea, and tightness in my chest over the past year of recovery. I just figured that was my new “norm“ and that I needed to continue following doctors orders.
Which brings me to this new Blake hospital visit… I ended up calling 911 on Thursday due to excessive vomiting, sweating, and chest pain. Through blood work, x-rays, echocardiogram, and other tests, they have found that my double bypass surgery and the graphs are great, but I am having a valve issue, detected abnormalities and extremely high trope enzymes. I am told I definitely did have another heart attack, but a different one than my first. I am scheduled for a heart Cath tomorrow morning because I am currently in heart failure. We do not know the extent of what will need to be done until after Monday or Tuesday continued tests.
Please keep me in your prayers as my former nurse, Lexi Rogers, is caregiving for my grandson in Ohio during his cancer journey, and I am here in Florida. But trust and believe, she is still stalking and watching me from afar! And I am blessed to be able to continue my fight!❤️I will keep you updated after the procedure this week. please send continued prayers!

This poor girl has been struggling to try to make it through not only her heart problems, but now her grandson has cancer and is being treated out of state , so Tracy is completely on her own. Her daughter is no longer there to help her.

I’m sharing this again to help Tracy get through the tail end of her journey! She is still financially struggling due to being unable to work and any help is greatly appreciated! She is hoping to be released to work mid February, but she is still waiting on doctors to approve that. So if it’s within your budget and you feel compelled to help, she and her family would be very grateful! She really wants to go back to work! She is not a sit at home person and this is driving her nuts, but she does not want to overdo it in the interim. Thank you in advance!❤️

Original post:
I'm trying to help raise money for Tracy Rogers-Yates who has had several huge medical events happen in her life over the last few years, the most recent of which was a heart attack that turned into open-heart surgery because of multi-vessel disease that she didn't know she had. Five or six years ago, she had fluid on her heart, which was just the beginning. Her daughter Lexi and God have been by her side, but there is a long way to go.

There were three areas of her heart that were blocked. The main one was 99% blocked, so they did a bypass from the top of the aorta, past the block to the bottom of the heart to restore blood flow. The second one required the use of a vein from her leg to replace the artery, and the third one was scraped. The concern was that the lower portion of her heart was not pumping at all. Once they cracked open her chest, they found they needed to do a second bypass that they didn't know about.

If you can find it in your heart to help her with some of these medical expenses, since her insurance is minimal, and maybe help her make rent and put some food on the table since she can't work for a while while she's healing, I know she will be forever grateful. She is a single mom and sole supporter for her, her daughter and grandchild.
