My name is Randi Schmitt and I am creating this fundraiser on behalf of my son’s best friend’s mom, Tracy Nelson. Tracy was recently diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic melanoma, a devastating diagnosis that has turned her and her family’s world upside down.

Tracy is more than just a mother—she is a fighter, a friend, and a woman who has always shown love, strength, and compassion to those around her. Unfortunately, her prognosis is not good, and she has already begun to feel the effects of this cruel disease and the treatments that come with it.

As Tracy faces the hardest battle of her life, I want to rally support for her in any way possible. This fundraiser is to help ease the overwhelming financial burden of medical bills and treatments. But beyond that, it is also about giving her the chance to create lasting memories with her children—whether that’s taking a trip together, enjoying meaningful experiences, or simply having peace of mind that her focus can remain on her health and family instead of financial stress.
