Support Tracy Hall's Battle Against ALS

My name is Austin Hall and I am the son of Tracy Hall who is currently battling Lou Gehrig's disease also known as "ALS". I wanted to start this gofundme for him. This is my dad's story and this is how he wanted it portrayed.

In 2019, I started twitching in my left arm and having muscle cramps. It opened the door for numerous tests and doctor visits over the next two years. I was then sent to UAB ALS clinic and I was diagnosed in July 2022. Over the past two years, I went from walking to using a walker to now being wheelchair bound today. I have lost mobility in my left arm, and I am losing partial range of motion in my right arm. I am in search of help for a disability van to purchase, also help with medical expenses, and getting necessities when it comes to living with ALS and potential future caregiver help. I am hopeful for any clinical trials or treatments that are being tested.

My wife (Karen) currently has to help me with standard day-to-day activities that we take for granted every day. Some examples include dressing and undressing, getting in and out of bed, and getting all meals and supplements prepared for me while also trying to work a full-time job from home.

I still believe in the God of Miracles. His word says faith is the substance of things hoped for and evidence of things not seen. I believe through God, technology, and treatments that this can be cured one day. Thanks to anyone who may consider or contribute to this fund. May God bless you.
