Support Traci's Recovery Journey
Donation protected
My Mom, Traci Ange, has faced an incredibly challenging journey over the past 6 weeks. She was hospitalized unexpectedly March 9th, after losing function in her lower abdomen and legs caused by an abscess on her spine. The abscess developed when she was rear ended in October of last year. Since the initial hospitalization, she has had four surgeries, each time hoping to move on to rehabilitation, only to face other setbacks. Despite these challenges, she has shown remarkable strength and resilience.
The financial burden of medical bills, transportation costs, and upcoming rehabilitation expenses has been significant for our family. This situation was sudden and has deeply impacted each of us, as she remains to have no function in her legs and has had to miss important family events and occasions due to her hospital stay. Reaching our fundraiser amount would provide her with the peace of mind to focus on healing and improving without the added stress of financial worries.
Mom’s spirit remains unbroken, and her strength through these trials is truly inspiring. We hope to rally support to help her on this journey to recovery, allowing her to concentrate on regaining her health and returning to the life she loves. Please share this post to spread the news.
UPDATE (5/21): Thank you so much to everyone who has donated. We are incredibly grateful for the generosity and support. Mom is still in the hospital currently awaiting a rehab placement. She has more feeling and movement in her legs and feet! I’ll provide another update once she has moved facilities!
UPDATE (6/13): Hi all, mom has been in rehab for about 3 weeks now and is still continuing to gain more movement and feeling in her abdomen and legs. With rehab comes insurance battles, but we are still so grateful to be in this phase of recovery and out of the hospital. Thank you so much again to everyone and the continued support and prayers.
