In Aug 2024, I was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer that spread to my liver. I had successful surgeries and am currently considered NED ("disease free"), although I still have to do 6 months of chemo in case there are any lingering cancer cells that can't be seen on scans. I am currently in treatment at Memorial Sloan Kettering, which is the number 2 oncology hospital in the US, and have a wonderful team. My treatment (12 rounds) will last until March 2025 if all goes as planned.

I am currently on short-term disability through my employer, and as of Dec 6th, 2024, my salary will be reduced to 60%. In Jan 2025, my insurance will start over, and I will have to pay my deductible and out-of-pocket max, which is $4500.00 before coverage begins.

I am asking for any help covering my medical bills and to help supplement my loss of almost half of my income while I am in treatment. Any money raised will go directly to the medical bills, rent, car payment, and other expenses.

It is not easy for me to ask for help, and I truly appreciate anything you have to donate. I will be forever grateful.
