My name is Tracie, and right now I’m just trying to keep my little family safe. I’m 37 years old, fighting stage 2 breast cancer, and living in my Jeep with my four dogs — the only family I have out here.
Every day is a battle between trying to survive and trying to stay hopeful. My dogs are my heart. They’re my comfort on the nights I cry myself to sleep and the reason I keep pushing forward when everything feels impossible. I refuse to give them up — they’ve stood by me through everything, and I owe them that same loyalty.
I missed my cancer treatment recently because I had nowhere safe to leave them. That broke me. I’m doing everything I can to hold on, but it’s so hard when you have no home, no help, and no one to lean on. I’m not asking for pity — I’m just asking for a chance.
I’m trying to raise enough to get a roof over our heads — somewhere safe and stable so I can continue my treatments and get back on my feet. I want to work again, rebuild, and start over. I just need a little help to get there.
If you can give anything — even a few dollars — it would mean more than I can ever express. You wouldn’t just be helping me; you’d be helping four sweet dogs who are my whole world.
Please, help me give us a chance to start again. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading, sharing, or helping in any way you can.
