My name is Tracie, and I’m a divorced mom doing my best to care for my two kids, Colin (16) and Mae (14). Mae has autism and needs supervision at home, so I’m hoping to find a work-from-home job that allows me to be there for her. Right now, Colin has to help watch Mae, and I want to take that pressure off him so he can focus on being a teenager.

I’ve been diagnosed with POTS, which makes it impossible for me to stand for long periods. My heart rate can spike to dangerous levels, and I often get dizzy, nauseous, and even vomit. These symptoms make it very difficult to work outside the home, and the stress of my situation has led to anxiety, depression, and even hair loss. I’m currently searching for a remote job, but in the meantime, I’m struggling to keep up with utilities, groceries, my house payment, and debt from my divorce.
