A Second Chance at Life for Trace
On November 9th, 2025, our dear friend and valued employee, 23-year-old Trace, survived the unimaginable. A tragic gun accident in his apartment left him with life-threatening injuries. By what can only be described as a miracle , and by God’s grace, the bullet passed through his face without striking his brain. His survival alone is extraordinary.
Trace spent days in the ICU, undergoing multiple emergency surgeries to stabilize and save his life. He has now been moved to the traumatic surgery recovery floor, where his long healing journey continues. Though his jaw is no longer fully wired shut, he currently relies on a PEG tube for nutrition and a trach to breathe safely. Doctors expect him to remain in the hospital for at least a month, followed by extensive rehabilitation to relearn how to walk, eat, and swallow. In time, he will also need additional reconstructive surgeries.
Beyond his strength in this moment, Trace is an exceptional young man. He is always the first to offer help, shows up early every day, and brings a genuine positivity that brightens the whole workplace. We look forward to seeing him every morning, his great attitude sets the tone for everyone. We miss him deeply each day he’s not with us, and we are committed to supporting him through every step of his recovery.
Despite the overwhelming physical and emotional challenges ahead, the financial burden he faces is heavy. Even with insurance, the cost of emergency care, extended hospitalization, rehab, long-term therapies, and future surgeries will be immense.
We are asking for help so that Trace can focus on healing, not on medical bills.
Every dollar raised will go directly toward his medical care and recovery needs.
Trace has been given a second chance at life. With your support, we can help him make the most of it. If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this page and keeping him in your prayers.
Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for standing with Trace during the hardest chapter of his life.
