Tove Elaine

Tove was born on 11/29/23, having been prenatally diagnosed at 20 weeks with Severe Bilateral Ventriculomegaly (water on the brain). The after birth MRI showed that Tove also has Dandy-Walker malformation (a rare defect of the cerebellum which likely caused the ventriculomegaly).

After monthly MRIs and close monitoring, Tove has developed Hydrocephalus, which is excessive pressure on the brain tissue from the enlarged ventricles. She now needs surgery to relieve the pressure on her brain which will be done out of state at Boston Children's Hospital.

All funds raised will be used to cover travel and medical expenses related to her treatment.
