Support Torres Family's Road to Recovery

I’m setting up this GoFundMe on behalf of the Torres Family, valued members of my community. Tragically, they recently lost their home to a devastating fire. Thankfully, they are safe, but their house is uninhabitable and possessions were completely destroyed.

On April 24, 2024, a terrible fire broke out at the Torres home in the Aurora, IL. Despite the quick response from the fire department, the house is completely destroyed, along with their belongings. This is a shocking blow to them, emotionally and financially.

We are trying to raise $50,000 to help the Torres family with the costs of temporary housing, clothes, basic necessities, and eventually, help with their road to recovery. Every little bit helps, no matter how small.

All funds raised will go directly to the Torres's to cover: Temporary accommodations, clothing and personal items, and rebuilding their home, and the unexpected expenses related to their displacement.
