My name is Tori Brooks, and I am a 19-year-old student at Louisiana State University. Recently, my life took an unexpected turn when I was involved in a car accident that totaled my car. As a result, I am now suffering from a concussion, along with multiple sprains from the waist up. The accident has left me needing an MRI to check for brain damage, as I have been experiencing memory loss and slow moments that make daily life challenging.
Despite these setbacks, I am passionate about my work as a youth dance teacher at two elementary schools and one middle school, thanks to the support of Of Moving Colors Productions and Big Buddy. Teaching dance to young students brings me so much joy, and I am determined to continue sharing my love for dance with them. My dream is to graduate from college and eventually start real estate school, but right now, my recovery and ability to keep up with my responsibilities are at risk.
The majority of the funds raised will go toward covering my medical bills and helping me secure reliable transportation so I can get to school and work. Any remaining support will help me continue my education and pursue my goals. To those who donate, a thank you is beyond measure. You will always hold a special place in my heart because if it wasn’t for you, I would still be in a major setback, making it hard to continue my daily routine that I love.
