Almost 2 years ago our niece Vittoria Smith was diagnosed with brain cancer. After this shocking diagnosis things moved quickly and Tori had the brain mass surgically removed in May 2024. Pathology showed it was a grade III ependymoma and the prognosis seemed guarded but very promising. She started radiation that summer but on a follow up MRI scan 10 months later a new brain tumor had grown. Again Tori faced brain surgery, chemotherapy and radiation. In October 2025 another MRI unfortunately revealed a third growth. Fortunately this growth is smaller than the previous tumors but Tori will need to continue chemotherapy medication.

The unexpected cancer diagnosis, surgeries and other treatments have derailed Tori's nursing career. The cost of her health insurance and chemo have increased adding more stress to her life.

Tori is 26, a typical night shift nurse: tireless, witty and a biting sense of humor. She is funny and kind and just wants to be a regular person. All funds donated to her would help her with medical and daily living expenses. Tori needs us.
