Support Tori's Fight Against Cancer

Imagine finally feeling like you are truly living in a fairy tale…then LIFE throws another curveball!

We are all well aware of the possibilities of being diagnosed with an illness, but there is always that hope that you will NEVER have to step in the ring to battle one. Well, it happened! 2025 arrived and life has already taken a family that is close to us on a shocking detour.

At the prime age of 30, three months after marrying the man of her dreams (we call him Bubba) and blending her very own smaller version of the Brady Bunch family; our beautiful Tori has added another reason to maintain her HERO status for her daughter Honey and her mother Rachel.

In December 2024, the Monday before Christmas she had her first mammogram, followed by a diagnostic mammogram. The Thursday after Christmas a biopsy was performed and on New Year's Eve Tori received the devastating news that she had Invasive Ductal Carcinoma Triple Negative Breast Cancer. In January 2025 she then tested positive for the BRCA 1 gene, which means she will need additional surgery to decrease the risk of Ovarian Cancer.

Tori had recently started a new job as Clinic Manager that she worked so hard to obtain; although her job is secure, unfortunately a new job means she is not qualified for FMLA/Short Term Disability benefits to assist her and her family with medical bills, household expenses, and childcare.

I created this GoFundMe page to help the family with expenses during Tori's healing journey, that includes months of Chemotherapy followed by additional surgeries. It starts small. A simple act of kindness to allow one less worry to an amazing person and her AMAZING family.

While this is an overwhelming experience, Tori’s mother Rachel will periodically update us throughout Tori’s journey when approved by our SHERO. #ToriStrong
