Hi, my name is Tori and I finally got the courage to leave a 5 year abusive relationship, a couple weeks before my birthday nonetheless. I just got a new job, but I am in need of the funds to get out of the house ASAP. My situation right now is one of financial and emotional abuse. The little money I had saved went towards my ex, since he started charging me for everything under the sun or else he would kick me out. My move would unfortunately be cross country in hopes of getting an even better job within my field and being closer to a lot of my support system. I can support myself after the move, but for right now I do not have the funds to pack the things I need and go. Because the move is so far, I really don't have any options that are affordable. The cheapest thing for me right now is to rent a truck, pack up, and drive.

My options are limited since I have to move with my little french bulldog, Ruby. I can't fly her out cargo and the flight would be too long for her and very expensive for me. The overall plan is to rent a uhaul, get out ASAP, and airbnb to sleep along the way. The goal for this fundraiser would cover base uhaul cost, trailer hitch to tow my car, gas, and places to stay on the 43 hour road trip.
