I'm reaching out to you today to ask for your support for my dear friend Torin Thatcher at the young age of 55, who on April 2023 was diagnosed with IgA nephropathy, a chronic kidney disease. Torin has been out of work due to this disease since November of last year. Nearly exhausting all his financial resources. He needs our help.

Torin is a stand up guy and a father to two young children (Son) Torin age 4 and (Daughter) Noelle age 2. Torin has always been the kind of person to put others before himself, and now he needs our help. As he embarks on this challenging journey of managing his health and seeking treatment, the financial burden is adding stress to an already difficult situation.

Torin is on a daily routine of dialysis which serves as his lifeline while on a kidney transplant waiting list. This is a journey filled with hope, patience, and uncertainty. Every day brings a mix of emotions – from the anticipation of receiving a life-saving organ to the anxiety of not knowing when that call will come. Each moment spent on this waiting list is a reminder of the precious gift of life.
