This GoFundMe has been created by Jeena Schmit to support Tori and Lily (“Lar”) Kittelson, two young teen sisters who have experienced an unimaginable and sudden loss.

In a moment that has left their lives forever changed, Tori and Lily lost their dad, Nick Kittelson, under tragic and deeply complex circumstances. While the details are painful and difficult to hold, what matters most right now is the care, compassion, and stability these two girls deserve as they begin to process a loss no child should ever have to face.

Tori and Lily meant the world to Nick, and Nick meant the world to them. These two beautiful young girls now carry both grief and confusion that no young person should have to navigate alone.

This fund is being established specifically for Tori and Lily, as there is already a separate GoFundMe in place for Nick’s younger son, Derek. The intent of this fund is to ensure that Tori and Lily have the resources they need, now and in the years ahead, to heal, grow, and move forward with support.

Funds raised will be used for:

Grief and trauma counseling

Immediate and ongoing needs during this transition

Educational support and future planning

Essential expenses as they navigate life after this sudden loss

Any additional support needed along the way to provide stability and care

There is no roadmap for a loss like this. Healing will take time, patience, and a strong circle of support. Our hope is that this fund can ease some of the burdens placed on these young shoulders, allowing Tori and Lily the space to grieve, to heal, and to focus on being kids, surrounded by love, understanding, and compassion.
