Tony is a young man in his 30s who has always faced life with courage and determination. Recently, he has been struggling with his diabetes and end stage renal disease, which requires him to undergo dialysis three times a week. On top of this, Tony had double cardiac bypass surgery and now relies on multiple medications to maintain his blood pressure and cardiac function. Unfortunately, Tony has lost his insurance and is no longer able to sustain the out-of-pocket costs for his dialysis, diabetic supplies, and essential medications. This has placed a tremendous financial and emotional burden on him at a time when he should be focusing on healing and recovery.
