Tony is a cherished, kind friend and a talented chef who has touched the lives of many in the Ballard and Belltown communities. Whether he’s serving fire wings or greeting you at Smokeshop with a warm hug, Tony’s presence brings people together. Unfortunately, Tony’s leukemia has returned, and he began treatment today. This news has been difficult for everyone who knows and loves him.

Because of his role in the kitchen, Tony won’t be able to take fully paid leave, and he won't be able to return to work for an uncertain amount of time. His current treatment plan is intense, including a bone marrow transplant, a hospital stay of at least five days, and months of outpatient care. The financial burden of medical bills is overwhelming, and insurance coverage is still unconfirmed.

All funds raised will go directly to Tony’s medical bills during this challenging time. Your support means the world to Tony, his friends & family.
