I am setting this GoFundMe page up for one of my good friends and someone who I consider my brother. His name is Tony Smith! We grew up together in Trotwood! He has always been a person who's helped anyone and has given his last to anyone that has ever been in need.

Lately, he has been having setbacks after setbacks for the past couple of years because his health has been declining. It really has taken a downhill spiral this past year. This past year alone, he has dealt with bleeding ulcers that have caused him to have 3 blood transfusions, dealing with GIST (tumor in his stomach), and his digestive system is almost at the point he might have to have his stomach removed. A week ago, 2 lumps developed on his spine and he just dealt with Acute Kidney Injury (AKI).

Because of his declining health, he has suffered tremendously. He has had to choose between getting his medication or getting himself something to eat. He said to me, "I don't care if I eat or get my medication, as long as my son is able to eat!" He also said during our conversation his fear of being sick and homeless. Him saying that broke my heart! The amount of weight he's lost and the constant pain he's in has not stopped him from being an active and loving father….. and he’s doing all of this while taking care of his older brother, Cal, who has cerebral palsy, a brain injury from birth, and autism.

My brother needs help! The hospital bills, the cost of his medications, food, and the necessities of life have him in a broken place. The Lord placed it on my heart to create this GoFundMe page for Tony and I hope and pray we can be a blessing to him!
