Black Panther Party & Civil Rights Activists – He defended Huey Newton and others in landmark political trials.

Bear Lincoln Trial – Tony defended Native American Bear Lincoln in a high-profile murder trial involving the death of a sheriff’s deputy. The case drew national attention and highlighted long-standing tensions between law enforcement and Indigenous communities. Bear Lincoln was acquitted of all major charges.

Symbionese Liberation Army ("Chimera" Trial) – Tony stood up for members of the SLA, challenging government overreach and public condemnation.

Ellie Nesler – He represented the mother who shot her son’s alleged molester in court — a case that stirred national debate.
