This page is to support and raise money for Tony James' fight with ALS.
Hello friends and family,
For those of you who do not know, our father was diagnosed with ALS in January. Since then, he has gone through various treatments plans. In April we were able to do a round of stem cell treatment and it showed some positive results. In recent days we have been approached to do another round of more advanced stem cell treatment. We are hopeful that this next treatment will improve some of his recurring symptoms beginning to develop from this disease. We have created a Go Fund Me page for him to help sponsor these treatments as they are very expensive and not covered by insurance. We want to ensure our dad gets the best care possible. We are asking for a prayer, a share, or a donation.
ALS is a disorder that affects the function of nerves and muscles. Doctors usually don't know why ALS occurs, it’s estimated that between 14,000 and 15,000 Americans have ALS.
January 18th, 2019 was the day we found out our father was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis. Our family has not given up hope!
We are raising money for Stem Cell Treatment from GIOSTAR or the GLOBAL INSTITUTE OF STEM CELL THERAPY AND RESEARCH.
Stem cells are the mother cells that are responsible for developing an entire human body from a tiny two-celled embryo; due to their unlimited divisions and strong power to differentiate into all the cells of different lineage. This power of stem cells has been harnessed by the technology to isolate them outside the human body, concentrate in the clean environment and implant back.
Thus stem cells treatment involves administration of concentrated cells in the targeted area, wherein they can colonize in the damaged area, adapt the properties of resident stem cells and initiate some of the lost functions that have been compromised by the disease or injury.
