Hi, my name is Tony Hollins Jr., and I’m 36 years old, living in Jackson, Mississippi. Since I was a child, I’ve lived with severe visual impairment. Up until the age of 4, I never realized that I couldn’t see because that was all I knew. My parents had concerns for my vision, and once I was old enough to supposedly be able to recognize shapes and letters, my parents took me to an eye exam. That was the day they found out that I had low vision and it was the first time receiving glasses. It was a huge difference in things seen, before that day. My mom said the first thing I said to her was “ that she was so beautiful!”
During my younger years, corrective lenses aided me well enough to be very productive. I was a great athlete playing football, basketball, baseball and track. However, it came a time at the age of 13 that I was diagnosed with glaucoma. As a result of that diagnosis, I was no longer able to participate any further in sports due to the dangers and not being able to pass a physical.
Now as an adult and a father of four children my visions has been declining rapidly. These days I don’t drive, I depend on others in multiply daily tasks, and color is starting to fade. I have a lot of love, care and molding to do for my children ages (8, 11, 13, and 16), my 5 sisters, and the rest of my loved ones. I also have life missions of my own I’d like to complete.
With that being said, over the past few years I’ve been researching glaucoma and different medical practices. I’ve finally found the one for me. The “stem cell healing institute ” in Guatemala City.
I am ready to step back into my independence, provide protection for my family,
and be the best that I can be. All donations will be greatly appreciated! And I will be happy to share my success!!
Thanks in advance!!
With love and gratitude,
Tony Hollins Jr.
