Support Tony Holden’s Transplant Journey
$1,690 raised of
As many of you know, our Dad, Tony Holden, has gone through a pretty significant journey over the last year. He is in stage 4 kidney failure, and his liver is not functioning properly. After our first denial of liver/kidney transplant with Prisma Health a few months ago, we asked for a second opinion with MUSC in Charleston and they have the decided to proceed with the evaluation process, which we found out 2 days ago and he has several appointments that are coming up, and a couple of them require him to stay over night. Once they do the evaluation, they will sit down and decide if he is eligible/stable for a transplant surgery.
Daddy is on a fixed income, and while his insurance covers a lot of things as far as healthcare, unfortunately he is responsible for the rest, and speciality visits, travel, and lodging when he goes out of town for those appointments, because Charleston is about 5 hours away from him, are not included in any of that. A year ago Dad was diagnosed, and it is an absolute miracle that he is still here with us!
Our Dad, Tony has always been the kind of man who would give you the shirt off of his back and help anyone and everyone that he could if he is able. He will make you laugh, sing with you, and pray for you.
If you are able to help, I know that he would appreciate and be thankful for anything. Please just keep him in your daily prayers!
If you prefer to donate directly to Dad, please send me a message, or call my Dad if you have a his number and we can arrange that.
Thank you ❤️
