Many know the story of Tony and the terrible tragedy of January 21, 1995 that resulted in the death of twenty-year-old Tariq Khamisa. This tragedy that shaped Tony’s life and took Tariq’s will never be forgotten and the beauty and subsequent miracle of redemption and forgiveness that was born from it will be a testament to the power of love and peace evermore. Today, Tony’s grandfather Ples Feliz and his mother Loeta Kizzee need your help in this time of need to not only cover the expenses related to Tony’s untimely death, estimated to be approximately $12,000 dollars, but also to make, with your generosity, a meaningful donation of ALL excess funds to the Tariq Khamisa Foundation. The Tariq Khamisa Foundation has reached over 600,000 school children, telling them the story and lessons of these “two victims on both sides of the gun.” This remarkable and important work is saving precious lives and must continue in the beautiful memory of Tariq and Tony.
