Support Tony Harmon's Family in Their Time of Loss

Anthony “Tony” Wayne Harmon, 59 of Ada died Monday, March 10, 2025 in Ada.

No services are scheduled at this time (Celebration of Life to be celebrated at a later date).

Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Bishop Funeral Service and Crematory, McAlester.

Anthony Wayne was born to Herman Lee and Tennie Belle (Stanczyk) Harmon on October 21, 1965 in Salida, Colorado. He graduated from McAlester High School in 1984 and the obtained an associates degree. He worked as Journeyman Electrician and contractor and was a proud member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He worked for several years for Holcim and was proud of his position of overseeing the electrical at the mining operations in Oklahoma and Texas. He said that that was the best job he ever had because working for his boss and best friend, Josh Hayden.

He married Sue Ann Young on September 30, 2013 in Ada. He lovingly referred to Sue Ann as “his Bling”.

Tony enjoyed golfing and fishing. He enjoyed life, his family and his many friends. Tony’s grandchildren were his pride and joy and they affectionately called him “PaPa”.

Tony was a member of the Ada Elks Lodge.

Tony was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Anthony and Marguerite Stanczyk; and paternal grandmother Dorothy Harmon Piper; uncles, Mike Harmon, Roy Harmon; and step-father, Dr. Murlyn Bellamy.

Tony leaves behind his wife, Sue Ann of the home; son, Mathew Harmon and wife, Bailey; daughter, Kasey Trammell; stepson, Jayden Starns; stepdaughter Courtney Smith and husband Cameron Smith; grandchildren, Camden Oliphant, Jaxon Starns and his newest granddaughter that he loved to spoil, Sterling Smith, Raingler Trammell, Karsten Trammell, Brodie Harmon and Jaycie Harmon; mother, Tennie Belle Bellamy; father, Herman Lee Harmon and wife, Kathy; sister, Tamara Morris; nieces, nephews, bonus daughter Candy Hightower other family members, friends and his beloved fur babies, Atticus, Pearl Anna, Jagger, Harper Lee and Crazy Fat Amy.

Tony will be missed but not forgotten.
