Support Anthony “Tony” Flores on His Road to Recovery
On October 25, 2025, my fiancé, Anthony “Tony” Flores, suffered a sudden cardiac arrest at home. I had just returned from walking the dog when I found him unresponsive, blue, and not breathing. I immediately began CPR and called for help. After fifteen long minutes, EMTs arrived and were able to revive him. Tony was rushed to the hospital and placed in the ICU, where he was intubated for about 36 hours.
Although all of his organs stabilized, doctors were uncertain about the extent of brain function after such a long period without oxygen. He has since been moved out of the ICU and is breathing on his own, but he’s experiencing motor-skill loss, speech difficulties, and challenges with swallowing that may require a feeding tube. During his ICU stay, he also developed pneumonia from being on a ventilator.
Tony is a musician at heart — someone who’s spent his life creating, playing, and pouring his soul into music. He’s known for his “dad joke with a twist” sense of humor, his ability to see things clearly, and his deep love for his family. He’s a devoted father and loving fiancé who worked himself to exhaustion as a lead driver and supervisor for Mini-Melts in Houston. After years of distance, he recently rebuilt a close bond with his daughter, Vanessa, and it’s clear that he lives for his girls.
Now, Tony faces a long and uncertain recovery. He has no insurance, and every expense — from hospital bills to rehabilitation — will be out of pocket. He’ll need extensive occupational and physical therapy, and doctors have said he may never be able to return to work. I’ve been by his side nearly every moment since this began, but the financial and emotional toll is becoming overwhelming.
We’re asking for your support to help ease the growing burden of medical bills, therapy costs, and daily living expenses as Tony continues to fight his way back. All funds will go directly toward his ongoing medical care, recovery needs, and household costs during this difficult time.
Your donations, prayers, and positive thoughts mean more than words can express. Right now, Tony needs encouragement and reassurance that he’s worth saving — that his story isn’t over yet.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing with us through this. Every share, every donation, and every message of hope makes a difference.
