Hey im TONY CHAPA,

Im from LONG BEACH CA, running my 2nd ULTRA MARATHON. The most challenging part is getting the funds together to make it all happen. I run for a cause, not just adventure. Running is therapy. I love motivating family and friends, but also strengthening mind, body, and spirit.

I will now be running THE SPEEDGOAT HOKA UTMB 50K JULY 25th 2026, since THE PACIFIC TRAILS 50K in SANTA BARBARA was canceled due to flooding.

Funds will go towards entry fees, gear(mandatory vest),shoes, healthy food supplies, hotel stay and travel expenses. A part of the donations will go to UTMB CARES, a charity that is part of the IRONMAN foundation. It supports the volunteers helping out with the race, as they provide medical, hydration, motivational support and food at aid stations. the charity also supports environmental protection, and trail maintenance through preserving and restoring natural landscapes so runners like myself can run in a clean and safe environment.
