Tony Bevacqua is everybody's best friend. Having worked with him for many years on and off the field, this man epitomizes the traits we all aspire to be in life. He is an amazing husband, father, teacher and friend. There are no words to describe what Tony brings to so many lives. Tony has a larger-than-life personality. His sense of humor and genuine kindness make him the person everyone roots for in this world.

 

Tony has been an educator and coach in the Spokane and Coeur d'Alene area for almost 30 years. He has touched countless lives in the classroom and on the field in that time. He is adored by his students and is always a favorite among the kids. As students say, his sense of humor and genuine concern for them makes him "the cool teacher."

 

Recently, Tony was diagnosed with an Aggressive Grade 3 Cancerous Brain Tumor. This came from nowhere, and obviously, his entire network of family, friends, and colleagues are still in a state of shock. Tony is currently undergoing Radiation and Chemotherapy treatment.

 

However, Tony is one of the most upbeat people on this planet. He will not let this beat him, we all know that. He takes each day to laugh and love the people around him.
