Hello,

After a lot of praying and accepting that we need help, we are choosing to create this Go Fund Me for our mother and stepfather, Tony and Lori Price of Monticello, Ga.

Tony was diagnosed with Small Cell Neuroendocrine Carcinoma (Lung Cancer) at the end of 2024. After 4 rounds of chemo and 33 rounds of radiation, he was finally released and sent home to recover. The PET Scan showed that the tumor was gone, and the lymph nodes had returned to normal size. His oncologist suggested he start immunotherapy, just to be sure the cancer cells remained stable. He started his first treatment in June, but after the 1st round, his bloodwork came back with hyperthyroidism and extremely low cortisol, causing him to have to stop treatment.

3 short weeks later Tony nearly passed out at home. My mother took him to the hospital, where they did a lot of testing. The MRI came back with a mass in his liver, and smaller lesions scattered throughout. It also showed a mass on his pancreas, simple cysts scattered throughout his kidneys, his gallbladder has collapsed, and his lymph nodes are very enlarged in multiple places. He was also diagnosed with pneumonia, and according to his bloodwork he had a mild heart attack when he almost passed out. The oncologist informed them both that she will no longer suggest treatment, as he is too weak. He was released this past week and is at home. We are doing our best to keep him comfortable, but he is in a lot of pain.

This disease has caused a tremendous impact on their income, as Tony owns his own business and can no longer work. She is not currently able to leave the home for long periods of time because she needs to monitor him 24/7. With that being said, they are unsure of how they will be able to provide any income for the days to come. It is with a gracious heart that we ask you to please help them if you are able, and we of course ask that you please keep our family in your prayers as well.
