Support Toni's Urgent Cancer Treatment

Hello, my name is Toni Arnold. I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer in early August 2024 that had already spread to the lymph nodes under my left arm. I underwent a double mastectomy and a complete axillary dissection on February 28, 2025. Two weeks later, I had to have a debridement done on the left side where all the skin had died because it wasn’t getting enough blood flow. So, I was unable to undergo my reconstruction that was planned at the same time as the mastectomy. Since then, test results have come back showing that the previous 16 rounds of chemo I went through only shrunk the tumor in my left breast by 1/3 in size, and all specimens from my breast and lymph nodes still unfortunately test positive for cancer.

I was just called today, May 9, and told that I need to be in St. Louis to start radiation on May 15, and I will have to be there for the next 3 to 4 weeks. So, I’m just reaching out for help with being able to afford a place to stay while I’m there for treatment, along with food, as I am only receiving long-term disability from my job and I’m trying to maintain my bills and children as well. It’s been a very long, tough road, and I appreciate anyone who reaches out or takes the time to read this. Thank you.
