On April 2nd, 2026, my twin sister Toni suffered a stroke on the right side of her brain, which has left her unable to move the entire left side of her body. Her speech is slurred, her vision is very blurry, and she is experiencing severe headaches and dizziness. Toni is only 42 years old and has two sons—one who is 20 and another who is just 10. She has always been the life of the party, full of laughter and love, and she means the world to her family and friends.
Right now, Toni, her partner, and her 10-year-old son are living in a long-stay hotel, paying weekly to keep a roof over their heads. Both Toni and her partner have always worked full-time to cover the room rate, but with Toni unable to work after her stroke, they are struggling to make ends meet. If they can't pay each Wednesday, they risk being kicked out immediately. Toni will soon begin rehab to regain her mobility, and we want her to be able to focus on her recovery instead of worrying about where her family will sleep each night.
We are reaching out for help to keep Toni and her family in their hotel and provide some food while she is away at rehab. Anything helps—whether it's a donation, a share, or a prayer. We aren't asking for charity, just a little support to get through this tough time. Thank you for helping us support Toni and for believing in her recovery. Let's get the fun-loving, karaoke-loving, silly Toni back home!
