Hello, my name is Tonaya, and I’m currently fighting Stage II breast cancer with lymph node involvement.

This has been one of the most unexpected and challenging chapters of my life. After my diagnosis, my doctors and I moved quickly to create a treatment plan, which includes breast cancer surgery scheduled for January 14. While I am grateful to have a strong medical team and a clear path forward, the financial burden that comes with cancer has been overwhelming.

Between medical appointments, treatment preparation, and recovery time, I’m unable to work consistently. As a result, everyday expenses like rent, utilities, transportation, groceries, and basic necessities have become difficult to manage. These are worries no one expects to face while also fighting for their health.
