Hello all. My name is Tom and I am looking to raise $4,000 to help pay off some of my medical bills and help me purchase crucial life saving medication. Two and a half years ago, I received a heart transplant as my health was getting extremely bad. Since my heart transplant, I have unfortunately been in and out of the hospital with a lot of bumps in the road. The most recent ones have been for pericarditis where the pericardial sack that surrounds your heart gets heavily inflamed and causes major pain and issues with breathing. My doctors have told me that I will need to have a pericardiectomy to remove my pericardial sack so I no longer have this issue. The reason I am looking to raise about $4,000 is so I have enough money to purchase my expensive heart medications and help pay off some of the bills associated with the surgery that my insurance does not pick up. I am trying to work but I can only work about 14 hours per week. Otherwise, my body burns out too quickly. I sincerely appreciate you taking the time to look at my page and consider donating to me.
