My name is Tom Palermo, I am a 52-year-old married man living on Long Island in NY. I was recently diagnosed with Stage 2 Renal Failure (kidney failure) and AKI (Acute Kidney Injury). Due to the mounting medical expenses related to diagnosing and treating this ailment, I am turning to my friends and Brothers for help. Unfortunately, my insurance at work is not sufficient and I have been declined on several of the procedures I was given during my 9 days in the hospital (From May 29 through June 6, 2024).
Normally, I would not worry too much about a medical bill, but the way it works, if I am in arrears with the accounting department, they can refuse to see me in the future and I have a long road ahead of me. I still have to get a kidney biopsy (they need to get my blood levels in line before they can do this in fear of causing an internal bleeding situation) to see what level of damage has been done. My blood levels still have not stabilized and a transfusion may be necessary in order to proceed.
So far, the bills are mounting up and I have no choice but to pay them and in the process, deplete anything I had in reserves. This is the last thing I wanted to do but I have no choice. I want to beat this, and I will, with your help.

Funds collected will be used to pay for outstanding and mounting medical bills. Medication and labs, along with doctor appointments are currently over $500/week and my insurance has declined to cover $7200 in already performed medical procedures.

You will also have sincere thanks and gratitude from my pups!
