Support Tommy's Brain Tumor Recovery

Hello friends, family, and perfect strangers. I just want to say thank you for any and all help you can provide for Tommy and our family. My name is Darcy and I am fundraising to help cover the costs of medical expenses and everyday bills while Tommy is out of work and recovering from surgery to remove his brain tumor. I am currently working but will be taking some time off as well to help care for him. Some of you might be hearing this news for the first time and I’m sorry we haven’t told you sooner. We’ve been processing all the information and trying to soak in the last few days with family and friends before he goes in. Tommy Gahan III fell and hit his head on April 4th, which led to 4 seizures within an hour. He was taken to the ER where they ran tests and scans, revealing a lesion on his brain. After an MRI, it was discovered that he has a 3.3cm tumor on the front left side of his brain. His surgery is scheduled for this Thursday April 25th. At that time they will send it off to a lab to find out if it is benign or malignant. Despite this, thanks to Tom's parents and the neurosurgeons blessing we were able to spend last week in sunny Florida, living our best life with our family. We are now home and preparing for his appointments today and tomorrow before surgery. We would appreciate all prayers and positive vibes as we navigate this difficult journey. Any extra help during this difficult time would help tremendously! Please keep him in your prayers as he has a long road to recovery.
