Earlier this week, "Timber Tom", was struck in the arm by a large limb. Despite taking his escape route, the limb catapulted toward him too fast for him to avoid it. Due to the stability of his condition, he was flown out of the scene via helicopter. Tom was left with a broken arm and severe laceration to his finger. All things considered, we are thankful that the injury was not worse considering the size of the limb.
Like many in this industry, Tom is a self-employed business owner, so being down means lost livelihood. A large part of Tom's career and income depends on working in the summer/fall season.
If you don't know Tommy personally, he is extremely experienced in the tree industry and a volunteer firefighter/EMT at a Volunteer Fire Department. He loves nothing more than serving his community and others. Everyone who meets him loves and adores him. His constant positive attitude, charisma, and willingness to help lights up everyone he encounters. We all know Tommy would give the shirt off his back to help others in need, so it's now our turn to help him.
Please consider donating to Tom who has been putting his own health and safety at stake for years to serve and protect. Even a small amount will add up to relieve the stress of missing work and medical bills.
Thanks so much for reading and any donations you can give. I know Tom will appreciate it greatly.
