On May 14, 2025, while at work, Tommy Fickle fell ill due to a Subarachnoid hemorrhage. Due to the medical emergency, Tommy spent 15 days in Neuro ICU at Wellstar, locally in Augusta, GA. Tommy is currently in Doctors Hospital Inpatient Rehab, and expected to return home 6/4/25. He has been working hard in rehab and has made good progress, but will need to continue outpatient therapy to regain independence. Tommy has a long road to recovery and will be out of work for the foreseeable future. Monique, his wife, has been by his side continuously, while also taking care of their two boys, Landon and Karter.

Due to Tommy's illness, the family is feeling the financial burden of medical costs, lost wages, and unexpected expenses. The road ahead will be financially challenging for this family of four. They are leaning into their faith and trusting God to guide them in the days ahead.
