This is Tomcat Hanks.

We took Tom in as a stray from Richmond, VA from a young couple who posted about Tom on Reddit asking if anyone recognized him or if anyone would be willing to take him in.

As we had just lost our beautiful orange 15 year old cat a few months before we thought, “hey let’s try this again!”

We didn’t know much about Tom when we took him in, just that he was so so sweet, loved head boops and chillin’ in the bathtub.

Unfortunately, taking in a stray cat off Reddit meant we didn’t have any medical history on Tom…and at closer inspection, we found he had a broken off canine tooth that could become infected if we didn’t get it extracted asap.

As you can imagine, this was extremely costly. Dental work for cats is no cheap expense!

We love our Tom and appreciate any and all help you may be willing to give us toward his hefty vet bill.
