Hello,
The man in this picture is the love of my life, father, son and grandfather  recently diagnosed with Lung Cancer, it turned our world upside down with only two words spoken. What we thought was a simple visit to the Dr. for pneumonia turned into a ER visit and days later the news no one wants to hear.
My husband has been in healthcare all his life. His career started in the navy, progressed into an emt. He has worked hard his entire life, starting in high school, all the way to the present day. He has helped people his entire life, starting with his mom and grandmother, to his children, all the way to his grandkids. Strangers, friends, family, and everyone between. He goes out of his way to help others, putting everyone else before his own needs. Nothing he has seen would have prepared him to be on the receiving end of such life changing news. 
I was hesitant to start this fund page, but if I can give my husband one less burden to worry during his fight, then pride aside! This gofund is started to pay for medical expenses and time missed from work in the upcoming weeks. For anyone that knows my husband missing work or vacations doesn't happen because he's always been a dedicated employee.
Please join me in taking the financial worries from him during a time he will need to focus on himself.  I thank you in advance from all of us- The Souder Family


I hope and pray, I can gain the power; to take it all away. Here lately plenty of grey days. I wish you could know, all the million ways you bring joy, and a ray of light, to everyone having a fight. I want you to have the only the best, damn the rest. I wish I had your courage. I wish I had your smile, and kindness towards the world, when all seems lost. I wish, I had the words to sum up what you mean to me. I hope you know, what a hero you are to me, and my brother. I love you like no other. My best friend, my hero, a person who gave me life. Chance after chance, love and support when I was nothing, but a screw up. I hope you know all the ways, I admire you. I know the battle is about to begin, and I will always be in your corner; my best friend. One more wish, is that you always know, I hold you tighter than the rest, because in my eyes, you're the best.
