Tom suffered a severe allergic reaction that led to oxygen deprivation, leaving him with an anoxic brain injury. He was initially on a ventilator and in intensive care for six days. Tom is facing a long and uncertain road to recovery. What should’ve been a time of planning a future together has turned into a daily struggle for healing.
