Hi! I'm Tom Teicholz and I write about art and artists, galleries and museums, and other cultural events. I'm based in Los Angeles, but I often travel to report on art exhibits in other cities and countries. I write for a variety of publications, primarily as a contributor for Forbes.com. However, over the last few years, less and less publications provide arts coverage, and those that do pay less and less. Writing about arts and culture is not sustainable without your support.
Bari Weiss should not be the only one to monetize her journalism. If you have read my work, recently, for the last year, or for the last decade, you know that I take what I do seriously and try to educate, inform, and entertain and expose my readers to art, artists, and cultural trends.
Artists, galleries and museums need journalists to write about their exhibitions -- if you care about the Arts, Artists, Museums and galleries, you will support my work.
With your support, I can continue to cover the art world, expand my coverage, and also work on a book about LA's emergence as an art capital, called The Future Happens Here, as well as other writing projects I am hoping to undertake.
