Update:

Surgery went well. I'm now doing rehab at home because I can't afford the visits 3 times a week. But I appear to be healing well.

A lot has happened since I started this GoFundMe. Not only am I paying for everything out of pocket, but my truck was repossessed and the day after surgery, my dad was in a wreck that totalled my RV and his truck (thankfully he is ok). So the bills are piling up and I have no current source of income. Every little bit helps!

Hi. My name is Tom Nordquist and I never thought that I would need to start a page like this. I am an Independent Contractor that works in the construction field, which means I have no insurance, no FMLA, no short-term or long-term disability benefits.

I've recently found out that I have a tear in my right knee (meniscus) and will require surgery and a 3-month rehabilitation. Since I don't have insurance, I have to pay for the surgery and the rehabilitation out of pocket (which I don't have) and will be out of work for potentially 3 months. Without help, I won't make it. Please, if you can help in any way, it would be greatly appreciated.
