ASU Alumni Needs Your Help after Emergency Surgery!!

I met Tom Murray over 40 years ago while playing Rugby at Arizona State University. We have remained friends over the years. I'm establishing this GoFundMe page to help Tom cover financial expenses over the next few months as he recovers from a major Heart Attack!

2024 has been a tough year for Tom, back in January Tom was diagnosed with Cancer and had to do Months of Radiation therapy.

Recently Tom suffered a massive Heart Attack and was rushed to the Hospital for Emergency Open-Heart Surgery! After surviving a 6-hour surgery Tom was placed in ICU for 5 days and remained in the hospital for another week. He will now need Cardiac Rehabilitation, and numerous Doctor visits over the next few months to fully recover.

Tom contacted his work to set up his medical leave of absence and short-term disability payments. This week Tom was told that his job was secure, but his short-term Disability Benefits are not covered or available to part-time employees. Basically, Tom will not be getting paid, during his leave of absence, or intel he returns to work in January 2025

This is why we have set up this GoFundMe page. We are trying raise funds to help Tom cover his expenses during his recovery over the next few months. We have set a goal of $5,000. Any size donation helps! You can also help by posting and sharing Thank you for your help and contribution.
