Hey guys, this is Matt Herweck. For those that have not heard, my cousin Tom Jenkins had a bad accident this week. He was assisting an elderly homeowner in Carlisle with ice dams and snow removal off their roofs and took a terrible fall. Carlisle EMTs and PD were on scene very quickly to stabilize him on a backboard, where they transported Tom to Leahy in Burlington. He suffered fractured vertebrae in his back, several broken ribs, and fractured bones in his hip and pelvis area. As far as we know, the spinal cord in his back is safe.

Tom’s always been a guy that is out there supporting and helping others as the helpful roofer & landscaper, the holiday Elf or Bunny or the guy on a crew getting people homes built.

I'm starting this GoFundMe to help support him with the ongoing costs that he's going to have through his recovery. Like every small business owner, the bills don't stop.
