Tom Hayes is the kind of person who makes everyone around him feel seen and valued. As a Service Manager, he’s known for his hard work, kindness, and willingness to help anyone—whether it’s a close friend or a stranger in need. Tom is a valued friend with a generous and kind soul. His resilience is remarkable; he’s faced countless surgeries due to complications from diabetes, yet he always bounces back with a positive attitude and a heart full of gratitude.
Yesterday, Tom suffered a heart attack while at work. Even though he wasn’t feeling well, his dedication kept him on the job until a coworker noticed something was wrong. Thanks to their quick action, Tom was rushed to the ER. He had an angiogram this morning, and as a result, he will need a triple bypass surgery next week. After the procedure, Tom will be out of work for an additional 6-8 weeks as he recovers.
During this time, he’ll need help covering his mortgage, utilities, insurance, medical bills, and daily essentials. We want to give Tom the financial cushion he needs to focus on healing and cardiac rehabilitation, without the added stress of mounting expenses. If you’re unable to donate, your support is still invaluable—visits, meals, rides, or even a simple message can make a difference. Tom’s mom is flying in from Florida, and his brother Jim is here to support him. Let’s come together to show Tom how much he means to us and help him through this challenging time. Thank you for your kindness, support, and prayers for a successful surgery and a smooth recovery.
