We’re reaching out as daughters—Christine Greene and Georgette Gilmore—on behalf of our beloved dad and stepfather, Tom Greene.
Tom is currently undergoing treatment for Stage 3C esophageal cancer, just after completing a long and difficult three-year battle with prostate cancer. This new diagnosis has been devastating for our family—not just emotionally, but financially.
Tom is a proud veteran who served during the Vietnam War and later retired from the U.S. Postal Service after more than 30 years of dedicated service. He and our stepmom and mom, Linda Greene, live on a limited income—his pension and some benefits from the VA. They’re still paying off the costs from his prostate cancer care, and now, with this second cancer diagnosis, the medical bills are rapidly mounting.
Tom’s oncologist has recently started him on a promising new immunotherapy chemotherapy regimen, but their out-of-pocket cost is $2,000 every two weeks—on top of co-pays for doctor visits, lab work, and rising transportation expenses to and from treatments.
We’re hoping to raise funds to help relieve some of the financial stress our parents are facing during this incredibly difficult time. Our goal is to make sure Tom can continue his treatments without the added burden of overwhelming debt.
If you’re able to contribute—no matter how big or small—it would mean the world to our family. And if you can’t give right now, please consider sharing this campaign with others.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support, love, and kindness.
With gratitude,
Christine Greene & Georgette Gilmore
