Tom Barker is my husband, and he’s the heart of our family and our community. Every day, Tom gives his time and energy to help others—whether it’s supporting those in recovery or serving at our local church. His faith in God guides everything he does, and he strives to be a loving husband, devoted father, and a brother in Christ to everyone he meets. Now, Tom is facing a serious health challenge that has turned our world upside down.

Tom has a congenital heart condition and needs surgery to replace his aortic mitral valve. We are leaning on our faith and trusting God to guide us through this difficult time. The medical expenses, especially the surgical and hospital stay copays, are more than we can manage on our own. We want Tom to be able to concentrate on healing, without the added stress of financial worries, and we believe God will provide through the kindness of others.
